Raghav Chadha: ED names AAP leader in supplementary chargesheet in Delhi excise policy case | Delhi News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday mentioned AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha’s name in its supplementary chargesheet in connection with Delhi liquor policy case.
Chadha has not been named as an accused. As per the chargesheet, Chadha was present in a meet of the accused in the case.
The chargesheet stated, “At deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s residence, there was a meeting of Raghav Chadha, ACS finance of Punjab govt, excise commissioner Varun Roojam, FCT and officers from Punjab excise where Vijay Nair was also present.”
A few days ago, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a supplementary chargesheet in a Delhi court, which included Manish Sisodia as an accused for the first time.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been accused of favouring specific liquor traders who allegedly paid bribes for obtaining licences under the Delhi government’s excise policy for 2021-22. However, the AAP has strongly denied these allegations.
The policy was later scrapped.
